Senior Mechanical Engineer | Product Development | R&D Mechanical Engineer with over 9 years of experience in product design, computational modeling and material characterization. My expertise spans solid mechanics, finite element analysis (FEA), mechanical testing, and structural design optimization. Currently, at NexiGo Energy, I lead the development of battery enclosures and thermal management systems, ensuring high-performance, reliable solutions for energy storage applications. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay, my research focused on the mechanical behavior of thin polymer films, where I designed in-situ micro-tensile testing equipment integrated with FTIR and Raman spectroscopy for real-time material analysis. Focus Areas: Solid Mechanics – Structural analysis and mechanical behavior of materials. Computational Modeling – Utilizing numerical techniques for product and process development. Mechanical Characterization – Expertise in polymers, composites, ceramics, and metals under mechanical loading. Technical Skills: Battery Pack Design & Mechanical Testing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) – Structural and material simulations using ANSYS, Abaqus. Product Development – Concept-to-prototype execution with performance optimization. Mechanical Testing – Hands-on experience with DIC, DMA, FTIR, Raman Spectroscopy. Thin Polymer Fabrication – Development and characterization of functional thin films. CAD & Design Optimization – Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA.
