About Pinal Champaneri

I have always been driven by a deep curiosity about how systems work and a passion for solving complex problems. With a Master’s in Computer Science and two years of experience as a Junior Software Engineer in the banking industry, I’ve built a strong foundation in secure software development and gained valuable insight into regulated financial systems. Recently, I took a decisive step toward my passion for cybersecurity. Through over 450 hours of immersive training at Per Scholas, I’ve developed hands-on experience in network defense, incident response, and ethical hacking. I’ve worked with tools like Wireshark, Splunk, and Metasploit, and continue to sharpen my skills in vulnerability scanning and scripting. Projects I’ve built include: VirusTotal API Integration – Identifies malicious URLs to support threat investigations and incident response. Cisco PSIRT OpenVuln API Integration – Automates vulnerability data retrieval for faster risk analysis. I’m committed to protecting critical systems, staying ahead of cyber threats, and continuously learning. I’m actively seeking opportunities as a Security Analyst, SOC Analyst, or Cybersecurity Associate where I can apply my technical expertise, security mindset, and dedication to safeguarding data.
