About Piotr Manasterski
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. My work focuses of creating models of dedifferentiated liposarcoma and undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma for in vivo drug testing. I have extensive experience in techniques such as mass spectrometry, Western blotting, qRT-PCR, CRISPR/Cas9 genetic engineering, protein overexpression and in vitro cellular assays measuring cellular toxicity, proliferation, migration and colony formation of human cancer cell lines. Beyond my academic interests, I compete in ultramarathons, triathlons and Taekwondo competitions.
