I am a registered physiotherapist, law graduate and accredited Expert Witness and past Fellow at the National Institute of Health & Care Excellence (NICE). I have practised clinically in hospital physiotherapy settings across in- and out-patient clinics treating adult musculoskeletal disorders, together with 7 years military experience. I provide claimant and defendant breach of duty and liability expert witness reports for musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice, including military claims. I provide professional leadership by supporting the UK physiotherapy workforce, NHS Trusts, independent healthcare providers, and international physiotherapy organisations on range of strategic and operational professional issues. I have experience leading in professional practice service redesign of MSK services and I have collaborated with Governmental and Local Commissioning organisations to develop and implement healthcare reform including legislative reform. I have extensive regulatory experience as a Panel member with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Tribunal Service and a Registration Assessor for the HCPC for non-UK applicants who apply for a license to practise physiotherapy in the UK.
