About Piper Mate

I'm that co-worker who can make you laugh one moment and help you troubleshoot whatever website or customer issue you are running into. I love deconstructing problems and methods of working with my own hands in order to build them up better and stronger. No challenge is too small or large for me to tackle, and you know I will figure out a way to improve and expand upon. I love to learn and grow. Over the years I have gone from serving customers at a coffee shop with a smile to working on website maintenance, coordinating workplace and sales events, saving valuable assets on shipping, maintaining relationships with valuable clients, and marketing to hundreds of people who love bra making. Even with all these news skills and job assignments, I still keep that award-winning smile. When someone is passionate about their business, I feed off that passion and make it my own. This translated into everything I do, from customer interaction to website improvements. Positivity and creativity reflect in every project and product I complete. Currently, I am using my own passion to drive me forward. I had a desire to learn how to create my own community, so I learned and executed it. I had a desire to learn how to draw, so I went out and purchased lessons, began working on projects, studied colour theory and the like. If I want to learn how to do it, I will focus on what that task or skill is and make it work for me. I am heavily engaged in one of my passions which involves me leading multiple groups of individuals through various scenarios to test their teamwork and creativity. I have had nothing but overwhelmingly positive feedback in the numerous scenarios I run, and that feedback drives me to strive to be even better. I currently administrate my own community for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals to learn how to engage in various collaborative activities that involve problem-solving, conflict resolution training, strategic goal planning, and social bonding. My goal is to create a safe and inclusive space for marginalized communities and people to learn and grow.
