About Piper McGee

Hi I'm Piper! I am a senior pursuing a degree in finance at Miami University. When not at the Farmer School of Business, you can probably find me at the Goggin Ice Center. Here at Miami, I'm a student athlete on the Senior Varsity Synchronized Ice Skating Team. Our rigorous practice schedule prepares us for an exciting competition season where we are given the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally. During my time skating with Miami and Team USA, I've gotten to compete against top teams in the US, Europe, Canada, Australia, and Asia. Evidently, I really enjoy working in teams! Almost all of my classes have had group project work, so I have grown immensely as a teammate during my time at Miami. I have worked with all grades levels, majors, and types of people in a group. I have experience working with groups in person, scheduling times to meet on campus; and groups in my asynchronous courses where we meet on Zoom or Microsoft Teams to get our work done. I enjoy stepping up to be the leader of the group or being an active participant if that's what the group needs more at the time!
