I am a Ph.D. graduate in Mechanical Engineering (with strong cross-disciplinary emphasis in Biomedical Engineering) from the University of the District of Columbia. My academic and research journey has been defined by a passion for nanoscale fabrication, advanced materials characterization, and the development of innovative device architectures. Core Expertise Nanoscale Fabrication: Photolithography, thin film deposition, plasma etching, wet etching. Surface & Material Characterization: Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy (KPFM). Electronic Properties & Device Analysis: I–V characterization for tunneling and semiconductor devices. Design & Simulation: AutoCAD for engineering design, coupled with advanced device modeling. Data Analysis & Visualization: ORIGIN Pro, Microsoft Office Suite, statistical data interpretation. My research is grounded in intellectual merit, advancing fundamental understanding of molecular tunneling, semiconductor interfaces, and nanoscale sensing technologies. At the same time, it embodies broader impact, with the potential to improve biomedical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, and next-generation electronic devices. My long-term goal is to push the boundaries of engineering practices at the intersection of nanotechnology and biomedical applications, translating advanced research into impactful real-world solutions.
