About Piyush Rawat

Analytics Engineer focused on building the foundations that make analytics reliable, fast, and actually useful for the people depending on it. My day to day lives at the intersection of data engineering and analytics. I build and maintain pipelines in Azure Synapse Analytics, develop SQL-based transformations, and support Power BI reporting to ensure data is consistent, timely, and decision-ready by the time it reaches a stakeholder. Beyond building, I care about reliability. That means monitoring pipeline executions, catching failures before they become business problems, and making sure the numbers people trust are actually trustworthy. I also work on reducing operational friction. Using Power Automate I have automated recurring workflows that previously consumed hours of manual effort every week, shortening feedback loops and freeing teams to focus on higher value work. On the AI side I use generative AI tools as a productivity multiplier, thinking faster, debugging smarter, and documenting more clearly, while keeping human judgment at the center of every decision. Two years in. Building toward a career at the intersection of data engineering, AI, and the kind of work that quietly makes everything else run better.
