I have a passion for helping people to safely enjoy the outdoors! Currently I am working as a BC Academy Trainer/instructor with Outward Bound Canada's Training academy. The Training Academy was created to address the representation gap within the outdoor sector while also providing technical skill development and growing social and emotional competencies so that Canada’s next generation of Outdoor Leaders can respond to the evolving needs of Canada’s diverse population. I worked with Whitecap Risk & Safety Consultants as the Marketing Director, Risk Analyst and Operations Manager. Whitecap RSC is dedicated to providing risk assessment and safety services around the globe. Specializing in Wilderness and Wildlife management as well as in-depth medical oversight. While working as and Outreach Educator and marketing specialist with BC AdventureSmart we worked to increase awareness to reduce the number and severity of search and rescue incidents.
