About Plamen Sofroniev

I am a security expert with more than 10 years of international security expertise. I have been working for international companies as a security manager and leader since 2007. For the past years, I had the chance to learn a lot and I am still learning each and every day from the best in business, from my mistakes and always on the field! My motto is simple: honesty, integrity, and devotion to the security profession! The personal goals I am pursuing are: to be an honest and good person, a leader and role-model for my team, to become among the best in my field, and to create a profitable environment for my employers to grow in business. During my spare time, I like to share my knowledge and experience with my colleagues from the security and business industries. I am most privileged to be- Deputy chairman and one of the founders of the Bulgarian Association for Corporate Security (BACS)- Guest lecturer in Military Academy G.S. Rakovsky, University of National and World Economy and The Bulgarian Association of Freight Forwarding, Transport and Logistics- Member of the Steering committee OSAC Bulgarian chapter. My specialties and interests are mainly in the fields of Physical, Personnel, and Aviation Security, Asset Protection, Business Continuity, and Emergency Management. I am also interested in innovations, improvements, corporate investigations, and protection of soft targets. My experience so far confirmed that, these are the most challenging areas for any person who will choose the hard path of a security professional.
