Mission Statement: PLEA Charities promotes the positive image of law enforcement and enhances the quality of life in our communities by helping police officers in need as well as assisting organizations and individuals within our communities. What We Do: Back The Blue - Services are provided to active and retired police officers in times of need. Support includes: line of duty deaths, line of duty injuries, non-line of duty injuries, officer family support and more. Community Support - We want to support all community members. Throughout the year, we build relationships with local schools, children, and families through charity events. Events & Programs: Police Officers' Ball - The purpose of this ball is to bring Law Enforcement of all ranks from across Arizona together to support PLEA Charities as well as foster unity among our community. Fallen Officer Memorial Golf Classic - Honoring officers that have made the ultimate sacrifice and bringing support to their families. Back To School Drive - Providing backpacks filled with school supplies to elementary school children. Shop With A Cop - An annual holiday program that partners low-income, high-risk children with a police officer to shop for gifts for themselves and family members. Phoenix Police Cadet Scholarship - Two new cadets are awarded a scholarship to the Phoenix Police Cadet Program.
