About Polo Lam

I am a young entrepreneur from Hong Kong who founded Deseo VR in Spain in 2017 because I saw the power of virtual reality as an immersive communication technology. Now, it is a nationally recognised brand within the educational sector with clients such as Cesur, La Salle and Universidad Fernando Pessoa Canarias. Covid-19, proved that VR content is helping the education sector communicate with effectiveness despite physical limitations. This is why I am creating virtual tours and VR experiences (360 videos) for schools and universities. Virtual tour is a 3D, digital version of the facilities which gives prospective parents a chance to know the unique education offering before booking a physical visit. VR experience is an immersive content that puts parents and students into the shoe of current students, giving them first person perspective of the school. Going forward, with the surge of interest in AI and web3, technologies and the metaverse will only accelerate the relevance of VR in the education sector See examples on Apart from creating businesses, I am also an advocate for entrepreneurship.
