About Pontus Hamlin

With over 15 years of experience in the banking sector, I am passionate about creating a culture of compliance, governance, and risk management that supports the strategic vision and goals of an organization. My field of expertise is in designing and managing governance processes and controls, as well as facilitating organizational development and change. As the current Coordination and Reputational Risk Lead, I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the Compliance and Conduct team, and align my values and motivations with the organization's mission and culture. In my previous role as the Internal Governance Lead and Organizational Development, I led the bank's internal governance and decision-making processes, and designed committees and processes on board and management level. I also administered two boards of directors across the Nordics, and supported the CEOs and Chairs with the board processes and governance related to the board of directors and its sub-committees. Additionally, I enabled strategic organization design and organizational blueprint, based on external trends, market conditions, and business objectives. To achieve these outcomes, I leveraged my skills in process improvement, data ethics, and analytical skills, as well as my credentials in ITIL, Lean, and EMBA.
