About Pontus Jacobson

Solution-oriented and curious engineer passionate about driving change and improvements through digitalization. As a person I’ve always been interested in new technologies and how to apply these to make organizations and processes more efficient. This interest combined with my engagement for sustainability eventually resulted in a M.Sc in energy, environment and management. After my graduation, I was accepted into the Lantmännen Graduate Trainee program where I got the opportunity to explore many different projects and industries to form my future career. I was offered a job as project manager, working in between the functions of sustainability and digital solutions. I got great experience from how digitalization can be used to take data driven decisions and facilitate sustainable growth. My interest in digitalization and change management lead up to my current position as product owner for our customer portal where I’ve learned more about IT-infrastructure and agile teams. The role has grown my knowledge about the SCRUM-framework and how to successfully apply it both within teams and on ways of working. I have also improved my project manager skills and how stick with the long-term objective in my everyday work.
