Pontus Thureson

Background

About Pontus Thureson

I am an experienced lawyer and leader with a broad background in both public and civil law. In leadership roles across organizations of various sizes, I have held full responsibility for budgets, personnel, and management teams, always with a focus on combining structure with progress. As a former industry manager and now CEO of a trade association within the food supply chain, I have developed a deep understanding of industry dynamics and business development. I work closely with member companies, authorities, and other stakeholders to drive initiatives that deliver concrete valu, both strategically and operationally. With a background as Head of Communications, I am also skilled in shaping and anchoring messaging, building trust, and influencing public discourse. I thrive at the intersection of law, communication, and business policy and am strongly driven to lead and develop organizations operating in that space. I bring strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp new areas, identify core issues, and translate them into clear, value-creating actions for both members and society.
