About Pooja Nigam

I am a Graduate Research Assistant at Oklahoma State University, pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science, with a focus on machine learning and mobile app development. As an iOS developer and researcher, I am working on an innovative project that uses machine learning to analyze plant health and determine the need for treatment. I am responsible for designing and building a stable and scalable app architecture, using the MVC framework and tools like CoreML, ARKit, and HealthKit. I collaborate with professors and staff members to consolidate requirements and deliver the project on time. Before joining OSU, I worked as an Assistant Software Engineer at WebCraft IT, where I developed full-stack applications using Java, Swift, and Node.js, and worked with databases like MongoDB and SQLite. I also gained experience in writing SQL queries and creating reports for data analysis at GigIndia. I have a strong passion for software development and a growing interest in melding machine learning techniques with mobile app development, aiming for seamless integration and innovation. I have a diverse technical toolbox that includes languages like Python and C++, and tools like Docker, Visual Studio, and GitHub. I also have a budding familiarity with French, which I enjoy learning and practicing. I am looking forward to connecting and exploring potential collaborations with people who share my interests and vision for the future of technology.
