About Pooja Pavoor

My journey in technology began with a fascination for how systems operate and can be enhanced. This led me to a Bachelor’s in Computer Applications from Alva’s College, providing a solid grounding in networking, data structures, and web development. I further built upon this with a Master’s in Computer Applications from N.M.A.M. Institute of Technology, where I developed a keen interest in cloud computing and data security. My initial practical experience included designing front-end and back-end systems as an intern at Softionik, followed by a role at Accenture as an Application Development Associate, where I gained exposure to Unix systems and Agile methodologies in developing web applications. A significant part of my career was spent at MSCI Inc, where I served as a Service Support Analyst. In this role, I honed my analytical skills by leveraging SQL to extract and analyze data for reporting, supporting data-driven decision-making. I also improved efficiency through Python scripting to automate data extraction from cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and developed interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and trends. My responsibilities also included providing technical support and resolving complex application issues. Driven by an increasing interest in data, I pursued an MSc in Data Science from the University of East London, gaining expertise in machine learning, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making. Currently, I am applying my analytical skills and technical background to provide effective technical support at Signature Flatbreads. I am eager to continue leveraging my data analysis abilities to drive insights and contribute to business objectives.
