About Pooja Saraff PhD ABPP

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 13 years of experience in working with individuals with anxiety disorders such as panic disorder and agoraphobia phobias health anxiety social anxiety as well as obsessive compulsive and related disorders (OCRD) using evidence-based cognitive behavioral approaches such as exposure and response prevention (ERP) and other cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT). I am also trained in other evidence-based approaches including cognitive processing therapy (CPT) for trauma and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I incorporate mindfulness-based strategies and motivational interviewing in the treatment. I also utilize evidence-based interventions for assessment and treatment of suicidality. I believe that creating a non-judgmental space and building a connection is important for therapy to be helpful. I collaborate with clients to systematically help them achieve their goals using structured goal-oriented therapy. My clinical work is informed by current research and I constantly update my knowledge to provide the best treatment possible.
