Background
About Poorvaja Jain
Hello! I’m a passionate early-career professional with a focus on systems change. With a background in Psychology and Philosophy from Ashoka University, I intend to imbibe the values of being reflective, evidence-driven, and sensitive in my work. My experiences have equipped me to take a purposeful, perseverant and collaborative approach to solving developmental problems. Currently working in the social sector, I contribute to translating abstract theories and best practices into grounded, context-specific solutions. I also founded Project Kalakaari, a project rooted in love and reflection that explores the role of drawing in enhancing reading comprehension skills, collaborating with two schools, four teachers and 65+ kids. Lastly, I have a penchant for community engagement, be it through Ashoka University's first Intra-University Psychology Research Network, collaborative poetry writing spaces in Indore and skill documentation of people from Asawarpur. If you’re enthusiastic about education, the arts, or the social impact sector, I’d love to connect and learn.
