About Prabhas Chandra Sinha

Currently, I am doing full-time online and onsite consultancy. Till recently, I was involved as Chief Advisor of Social Responsibility Council, New Delhi. After completing MA, M.Phil,Ph. D. from JNU and Post-Doctorate from East-West Center, I also work as a full time independent senior consultant. Also, I am the President of Borneo Open International University, Delaware, USA. In India, till recently, I was the Director of Suraj IAS Academy & “Global India Foundation”. Besides, I am the Honorary Chairman of “Indian Institute of Contemporary Studies”, a registered Trust in India. I also serve as the Honorary Secretary of “Foundation for Conflict Resolution”, a NGO registered as Society in India. During last 25 years of my professional, I have specialized in subject areas related to Environmental Institution, Policy and Law; Conflict Resolution; International Politics and Global Governance; Human Rights; Peace Research; Socially and Environmentally Compatible Sustainable Development; Regional Development and Political Geography; Coastal and Ocean Space Management; Polar Regions; Disaster Management; Tourism and Hospitality Management; Green Business Management; etc. I have done consultancy with several international organizations including World Bank, African Development Bank, International Development Agency, Danish International Development Assistance, Global Environment Facility, World Wide Fund for Nature and Natural Resources, United Nation, UK based International Institute of Environment and Development and Imperial College Centre for Environmental Technology, US Agency for International Development, etc. I specialize in undertaking research or project work. Prominent among awards bestowed on me include the ones from the Swedish Agency for International Technical and Economic Co-operation, U.S. Congress, Bard College (USA), Universitat Written-Herdecke (Germany), Bradley Foundation (Austria).
