About Prabhat Gupta

I have a keen interest in gaining & sharing knowledge in as many areas as possible. It is for this interest that I am always prepared to accept new responsibilities and challenges, even in those areas that have remained untouched by me since long but are integral or allied to my profession. From the time I opted for commerce in school, I always wanted to be a Chartered Accountant. To be truthful, I got my first job as Inspector of Central Excise at Trichy, Tamil Nadu accidentally as I never wished for a job under Central Government for some obvious but impractical reasons. It was only a combination of opportunity in hand and personal circumstances that made me to accept it. Although it was a tough decision to resign from a job under Central Government, but it certainly helped me in choosing my career path and left me with some good professional experience in indirect taxes. After joining Jaiprakash Associates Limited at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, apart from Indirect Taxes & Direct Taxes, I worked with the Legal Team here and soon developed a new interest in legal & consultancy area and this interest is working on my mind to go for a bachelor's degree in Law in future. As far as my objectives are concerned, I always wish to give the best results in roles given to me. I am also always ready to accept any role as a trainer, a teacher or a consultant in the area of my knowledge.
