About Prabhat Saini

Mr. Parbhat Saini is a Senior Associate and a registered Indian Patent Agent (IN/PA - 4274) with 7 years of experience in the field of intellectual property rights. He possesses rich experience in handling both domestic and international patent matters, particularly across chemical (chemistry and pharmaceuticals), chemical engineering, and life sciences domains. He has drafted more than 100 patent applications and prosecuted over 200 applications across various jurisdictions. His experience also includes conducting freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, patentability assessments, and validity/invalidity searches, supporting clients in making informed and strategic decisions around their IP assets. He holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. He has also completed his Bachelor’s degree in Legislative Law (LL.B.), offering a unique combination of scientific insight and legal acumen in managing complex IP matters. He has also completed global certifications such as PatentX: Patent Law and Global Public Health from Harvard Law School, and the Advanced International Certificate Course (AICC) on IP asset management, jointly offered by the Korean Intellectual Property Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). With a solid foundation in both science and law, he delivers a strategic and solutions-driven approach to safeguarding innovation and enhancing the commercial value of intellectual property.
