About Prabhinder Lall

Prabhinder LALL, a well known Artist of Chandigarh has been awarded with the Senior Fellowship, Ministry of Culture, Government of India for 2012-13 in the field of Painting (Visual Art) for a period of two years with effect from August, 2014. He has been awarded this fellowship for his project on the subject Environmental Art & Architecture related to Rural & Urban ism. Prabhinder LALL did his Masters in Applied Art from College of Art, Chandigarh in 1979. Most of his life was devoted to Art and Advertising products as a free lancer. He has worked in the field of art and applied art. He has worked with Alfred Allan Advertising, New Delhi as Graphic Artist; Lintas India, New Delhi, as Graphic Artists; Marketing Mix Group India Ltd, Chandigarh as Senior Visualizer; Elevation Advertising Private Ltd. as Art Director; Assistant Professor in the Department of Fine Arts, Applied Art in Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab He has participated in state, regional, national and international events of art. These include National Exhibitions of Art by Lalit Kala Akademi, N. Delhi; All India Art Exhibitions by All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society, New Delhi. All India Art Exhibitions of Drawings, Prints at College of Art, Chandigarh; Exhibitions of Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi and Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi and others. He has participated in many Group Shows also. He has attended prestigious art camps & workshops at national level including American artist Carol Summers workshop at Chandigarh, NZCC, Patiala at Naggar; by J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages Jammu (J&K). AIFACS All India Senior Artists Camp, New Delhi; National Painters Camp at Koch i etc. He has been awarded in All India Exhibition of Drawings at Chandigarh; Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society, Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar; All India Exhibition, Shimla; Punjab LKA, Chandigarh LKA and AIFACS Award; 4th Northern Region Camlin Award.
