Currently, I serve as Assistant General Manager – Risk Engineering and Chief Loss Adjuster at Allianz Insurance Lanka, where I lead the Risk Engineering and Loss Adjusting Department in delivering comprehensive technical assessments and loss management solutions that align with Allianz’s global standards of excellence. My core responsibilities encompass the management of Major and Complex Loss Adjustments, as well as pre-underwriting inspections for large-scale construction, energy, and property projects. I place strong emphasis on analytical precision, operational efficiency, and adherence to best practices in risk mitigation. Through my expertise in occupational risk assessment and claims management, I actively promote a culture of safety, compliance, and innovation within the organisation. I also oversee a team of highly skilled risk engineers, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all technical outputs while leading professional development and training initiatives. Prior to joining Allianz, I gained extensive experience at Ceylinco General Insurance, specialising in loss adjustments and project management across diverse sectors.
