Background

About Prachi Khatri

As a Honours Psychology graduate, I am driven by a deep curiosity about the human mind and a commitment to improving mental well-being. My experience spans both rigorous academic research and direct client care. During my time as a Research Analyst with COSTI, in collaboration with CAMH, I contributed to a vital study on enhancing mental health services for refugees. By conducting over 55 interviews and managing data collection, I helped translate complex human experiences into actionable insights for better care. This role solidified my belief in the power of evidence-based practice. My direct care experience includes delivering Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children with developmental needs, where I focused on building communication and emotional regulation skills. Additionally, through my volunteer work at Humber River Hospital, I have gained valuable experience supporting patients and working within healthcare teams. I am now eager to bring my blend of analytical skills, direct care experience, and passion for community well-being to an organization dedicated to making a meaningful difference in mental health. I am particularly interested in research opportunities and other roles where I can continue to learn and contribute to the field. Let's connect!
