I am writing to outline my experience as a Chef in fast-paced kitchen environments. I believe I possess the skills, qualifications and experience necessary to make a significant contribution to your restaurant. As a dedicated and proactive individual, I work continuously to achieve customer satisfaction and improve the guests’ experience while maximising financial performance. My expertise includes complete understanding of food safety procedures as well as the development of cost saving strategies without sacrificing the quality. During my experiences, I have refined my planning, organisational and multi-tasking skills, developing also the ability to prioritise and to delegate effectively. I am recognised for my professional attitude, high level energy and excellent interpersonal and communication skills which I use to great effect to successfully build positive client and staff relationships. In academic terms, I have completed a BSc (Hons) in Culinary Arts Management with the University of London. During my studies, I have represented the university at the Macdonald Berystede Hotel & Spa and Buckingham Palace, gaining an in-depth understanding of kitchen operations in high settings, during large scale events. I have also trusted to represent the university at a Young Chef Olympiad in India. Having a genuine passion for food and flavours, I am fully committed to continuous improvement through constant research and knowledge development. I am looking to continue my career in a customer-oriented restaurant where I can utilise my skills and experience to add value to business objectives.
