About Prachi Sharma

Prachi is a Policy Consultant at NITI Aayog, India's premier government think tank. She is the founding team member of the State Support Mission, a flagship initiative of NITI Aayog to promote cooperative federalism and engagement among Indian States/UTs. Her core work area lies in 'State Capacity Building & Trainings'. She is also lead project coordinator and manages partnerships & collaborations for 'NITI for States'- a knowledge platform with a rich repository of good governance, data, and policy practices across 10 socio-economic sectors. With over ten years of diverse experience, including HR Business Partner at Cipla Limited, Prachi is adept in financial and HR feasibility assessment for strategic decision-making and change management. Paving her way up from a small town in India, Prachi firmly believes in the power of girl education and its multiplier effect on families and society. With this, she founded 'The Abundance Collective'(T.A.C.) to create an ecosystem for skill development, career guidance and mentoring of girl students in need. Presently, Prachi is studying Generative AI and its impact on the future of work. She is also keenly interested in documenting the best practices across India as "Stories of Change" to inspire cross-learning and scaling up for Global South-South Cooperation
