Bid Leadership • Strategic leadership of tender opportunities • 12 years success in building and leading winning bid teams and significant experience in introducing and/or improving bid processes and infrastructure • Initiated Bid Management Function/Department as one man army and presently leading a team of fourteen with bid processes, reporting, structure • Managing the development and delivery of proposals and bids across all SBU’s and industries worldwide and accountable for the end to end bid process from qualification through to contract award • Define and develop a robust, integrated bid-sales strategy to drive the overall bid preparation • Embed a rigorous internal process on “GO NO-GO” • Facilitate bid strategy meetings and allocate deliverables to key stakeholders • Maintain close liaison with estimating and commercial departments with the expected efforts and overall price to fit the customer budget and sales intelligence • Encourage innovative thinking and differentiated offerings in the firm’s bid submissions and write or oversee the drafting of articulate, concise content, executive summaries, presentations and other documents • Ensure that a searchable bid database is maintained with quality content • Design and implement a full suite of Bid reporting KPIs • Support updating and registering of opportunities for tracking and pipeline management purposes • Win and Loss analysis to drive the strengths and weakness for key opportunities and enabling executive team with fact findings
