About Pradeep Sehgal

I am Pradeep Sehgal, Sports Enthusiast and Journalist. I have a combined work experience of 15+ years in the broadcast, digital and new media. I am currently working with SportsKeeda Cricket as Sports Anchor and Video Manager. Some of my previous work organisations are AajTak, News24 Sports, Dainik Jagran and ETV. Following are area of expertise: • New Media: In my current work routine, I indulge myself in editorial and non-editorial aspects of making every video count and worthy of our subscribers. In editorial framework, I research a topic, write script, voice it, get the post production done, work with the gfx dept for appropriate thumbnail. This includes recording a video and doing lives for the current cricketing events. In non-editorial aspect, I work in tandem with the social media and digital marketing team to effectively promote every video of ours with relevant SEO/SMO tools. • Digital media: From my previous organisation, I had a task to write digital news stories with effective headlines, appropriate keywords, tags and writing social media briefs for Facebook & twitter team. • Broadcast: My work experience in Broadcast (TV) includes visual medium. From thinking of a respective topic, researching, scripting, organising shoot, recording voice over, packaging news story with relevant gfx, directing a bulletin, visualising any topic is what I live by.
