About Pradeepta Kumar Sahoo

As a manager at NTPC Limited, the largest power utility in India, I have over 10 years of experience in executing and managing large-scale high CAPEX power projects. I am a certified associate project manager (CAPM) and a certified energy auditor and manager (CEA/CEM), with a global MBA in strategic leadership and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. My core competencies include project planning, monitoring, execution, and budgeting, stakeholder negotiation and management, risk management, quality assurance, and adherence to HSE policies. I have successfully reactivated multiple dormant projects and delivered FGD and steam generator packages for 800MW power plants, in collaboration with international partners such as Doosan and Hitachi. I have also managed material management, site engineering issues, and smaller work packages. My passion for project management stems from the collaborative nature of working with diverse stakeholders and finding innovative solutions to critical challenges.
