I have straddled across both print and electronic media since 1990, having worked in India's top media organisations like The Times of India (as Senior Editor), India Today (Deputy Editor), CNN-IBN (now Network 18), United News of India (Senior Correspondent) and NewsX (Deputy Editor). I have been a visiting faculty at premier media institutions, including Indian Institute of Mass Communication (New Delhi), Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (New Delhi), Sri Aurobindo Institute of Art and Communication (New Delhi), Xavier Institute of Management (XIM University, Bhubaneswar), Pioneer School of Communication (New Delhi), Rai Foundation (New Delhi) etc. Have been a newscaster on All India Radio during 1996-2003. As a reporter with UNI during 1990-2002, covered a wide range of issues ranging from politics to crime, diplomacy, disasters like Bhuj earthquake of 2001 and cricket. Was part of the senior editorial team for launch of Headlines Today (now India Today) and NewsX news channels. As Senior Vice President in Mumbai-based broadcast consultancy firm Castle Media, I was part of an international team of consultants/trainers to launch Bangladesh's first 24X7 news channel Somoy in 2011. As Consulting Editor, launched 'EnergyNext', a journal on renewable energy for Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA).
