I have over 19 years of experience working in C++, Win32, MFC and COM. Currently, I work as Senior Developer at NCR, developing and maintaining applications built using C++, C#, MFC, Win32 and COM. One of the major accomplishment was my ability to stabilize a very complex product at NCR, the significant improvement in the quality of this product had a profound impact on the stability of the entire system. Some of the things that brought out this change include my expert knowledge in C++ and COM, developed some of the initial improvement myself and documented the best coding practices, Overhauled the entire unit testing and unit testing strategy, identified gaps in unit test cases, came up with a developer guidelines for new developers, prepared a release checklist to avoid any release and configuration issues. Did in-depth review and performed root cause analysis of all customer issues, took preventive and proactive actions such as applying those improvement wherever applicable in other components. Previously, I was the Senior Technical lead at HCL Technologies, where I had worked for more than eight years again on C++, Win32 and COM spread across various domains including Aerospace, Medical and Network Security.
