About Pragnesh Patel

For more than two decades, my career has been defined by self-learning and teaching. I began my journey in 1997 as a Junior Graphic Designer and Printer. Over the years, I worked with printers, book publishers and advertising agencies, where I also developed skills in video editing and animation. In 2003, I joined a local Gujarati-language news daily as a Senior Graphic Designer for feature supplements and magazines. After being promoted to Magazine Head (Design) for Gujarat, I moved to New Delhi, the capital of India, in 2006 to challenge myself further. There, I worked on national news feature editions and magazines, serving as Deputy Art Director for various organizations. I designed publications across genres, including news, business, advertising, marketing, and sports, until 2013. In 2013, I joined The Times of India’s metro supplements as an Assistant Art Director. Through hard work and perseverance, I was promoted twice, and in 2018, I became the National Design Head of The Times of India’s metro supplements, which are published daily in over 40 cities across India. Throughout my career, I have been committed to continuous learning and teaching. I shared my expertise with my team, covering topics such as design fundamentals, printing techniques, color theory, typography, layouts, social media, digital, video and animation. I had the privilege of working with senior leaders, editors, executives, and CEOs, while also leading my talented team of designers with passion and dedication. In September 2024, my creative journey took an exciting turn, bringing me to the United States of America. Now, a new chapter of my professional life begins. Pragnesh Patel
