About Praise O.

A lifelong learner and recent business graduate, I utilize my formal education in finance and sustainable development to drive positive change within businesses, organizations and communities. My education at Simon Fraser University and Universidad de Carlos Madrid has refined my analytical and critical-thinking skills, enabling me to excel in roles requiring data-driven decision-making and research-based problem-solving. Beginning my career journey in sales provided a solid foundation to develop into a confident, professional, and strong relationship builder. I have a diverse background that includes private sector sustainability, government operations, public engagement, and non-profit leadership. These experiences not only honed my communication, creative-problem solving, and project management skills, but prove that my greatest strength is by ability to work with multiple stakeholders to collaboratively frame and tackle problems that emphasize bottom line goals of sustainability, equity and inclusion. I am insatiably curious and am thoroughly enjoying the journey of learning, growing, and becoming on the unsurrendered territories of the Coast Salish peoples, namely xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh).
