Having 9+ years of hands on experience in Production of accurate cost effective and efficient network design (HFC & Fiber) and / or drafting for the CATV industry.The job will also consist of checking the quality of production designs and helping ensure the high quality that our customers expect.Provide effective communications with customers peers and management.Supply written reports on status of assigned projects when required. Analyze HFC networks and provide recommendations on how to perform Node upgrades segmentation and node splits. Both the HFC and Fiber route will be later drafted into various GIS tools. Preparing the required delivery files to deliver to the customer. Checking the quality of the designed HFC & Fiber plan once again for the quality purpose including all the deliverables in order to avoid errors. Interface directly with customers in person via telephone fax and e-mail on issues of clarification on design details and problem identification. Keep accurate records of important communications and developments for the project and prepare summaries of completed designs and project status information. Analyze current design and / or drafting techniques and suggest more efficient techniques where appropriate Know and understand the design criteria and special instructions for the project Provide design mentoring to other design staff as needed Create detailed design/drafting documentation
