About Pramod Mohapatra

It has been an amazing 12+ years in the telecommunication industry where in I have enjoyed my work with wide range of challenging tasks in the embedded real-time domain. I started with work in the application & middleware domain designing and implementing software modules on Ericsson’s (EMP) proprietary platform, later moving on to help Ericsson's (EMP) and later ST-Ericsson's customers to realize the full potential of the platform with features tailored for them in varied domains including Middleware, Multimedia and Datacom. It involved lots of customer interaction and travel. I have also been part of the Mobile World Congress (2010 edition) representing ST-Ericsson. In recent years I have worked in the physical layer domain of both WCDMA and LTE. As part of WCDMA team I was involved in realization of compressed mode and CBS related features. I also handled error reports related to control logic at the baseband side for features including paging, RACH, FACH and FMO. As part of LTE team I worked with the Measurement team helping out with usage of DMA and handling error reports. Currently I am involved with Carrier Aggregation team related to channel processing. Apart from feature development I take keen interest in crash analysis and debugging. Outside work I spend time tinkering with Android & IOS apps development.
