About Pranab Devarajan

With a rich background at the Automotive Research Association of India my focus has been on steering the homologation and certification processes to align with both Indian and global regulations. My team’s efforts in the vehicle evaluation laboratory have streamlined regulatory affairs and enhanced the safety testing for a diverse range of vehicles including those powered by hydrogen and fuel cells. Proficiency in advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and a commitment to advancing vehicle cybersecurity have been cornerstones of our work. We've contributed to the development of rigorous design validation plans which include engine performance braking and transmission testing as well as pioneering tyre testing for enhanced wet grip and reduced noise emissions. These initiatives reflect our dedication to fostering safer and more efficient transportation systems.
