About Pranav Lokin

Pranav Lokin is a litigator with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP where his practice focuses on commercial disputes and responses to government investigations. Pranav is a former federal law clerk and previously worked at another prominent international firm specializing in telecommunications issues and cross-border disputes. Pranav's pro bono work has focused on securing relief for clients facing disproportionately long sentences, challenging mass incarceration as a policy choice, and addressing historical injustices. Pranav is an Honors graduate of Emory Law (2020) and a naturalized citizen. Born in Hyderabad, India, he moved to America at the age of 6 and was raised by a hardworking single mother who continues to inspire him daily. Pranav graduated from the University of Tampa (2014) with a dual degree in Journalism and Political Science. Pranav also has graduate degrees from the University of Oxford (St. Antony's College)(2015) and the London School of Economics (2016). As the first lawyer in his family, Pranav is deeply committed to giving back and engaging with communities like those that contributed to his own success. Pranav resides in Southwest Atlanta and currently serves as a Youth Program Enrichment Coordinator for Soccer in the Streets' Emerging Leaders Council, Parliamentarian of Oakland City Community Organization, Vice President and Director of Membership for Emory Asian Pacific-Islander and Desi American Alumni Organization, an Assistant Coach for D.M. Therrell High School's Mock Trial Team, a board member of South Asian Bar Association of Georgia, and a Member of Atlanta Legal Aid's Service Council. Pranav is an avid traveler having been to 55 countries (and counting). But when he isn't catching flights, he is hiking with his beloved rescue pup, Aubrey, and spending time with his nieces, Sia and Ila. Before law school, Pranav was in academia and served as a community organizer. Following his time with a 2016 national campaign, he championed criminal justice reform initiatives, including a successful Florida ballot measure to restore voting rights to returning citizens. He also led local efforts to educate communities on inequities within the justice system through book groups, canvassing drives, and public speaker events. As a naturalized citizen and a first-generation lawyer, Pranav is passionate about mentoring aspiring attorneys and building connections across the profession.
