About Pranav Mehta

I’m a PhD candidate working at the interface of cancer biology and bioengineering - driven by a clear goal: to translate complex biological insights into tangible impact in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. My research bridges cell signaling, 3D tumor modeling, and microfluidic systems to study how cancer-associated fibroblasts and ECM remodeling drive tumor invasion. With experience across academic institutions in India, the US (Johns Hopkins), and the Netherlands (TU Delft & LUMC), I’ve built a uniquely interdisciplinary foundation combining molecular biology, imaging, and engineering tools. Beyond the lab, I’ve led student associations, collaborated across labs, and communicated science to diverse audiences - skills I consider essential for innovation in industry. I’m now actively seeking roles in R&D, translational research, or scientific strategy where I can apply my scientific depth, systems-thinking, and collaborative mindset to solve real-world problems.
