About Pranoti Joshi

A keen, self driven Controls’ engineer working as a Model Based Design Engineer with an experience of around 6 years in home appliances with Whirlpool Corporation. I started my journey with Whirlpool as an Intern for my Master’s program in VLSI & Embedded Systems. During my course of work, I have successfully taken charge of various roles spanning throughout the Model Based Controls’ Development Cycle. MBD Roles & Responsibilities successfully undertaken so far include: HIL Plant Model Development & Integration Rapid Control Prototyping Tool Development with MATLAB Controls’ Model Implementation, Auto Code Generation & Integration Functional testing with Model In Loop & Software in Loop Simulation, Static & Dynamic Analysis for Control Model & Auto Code. Control Design Strategy definition based on data analysis using Six Sigma (OpEX) tools for advanced development projects. Control Design requirement writing for algorithm implementation Define Control Model & Software Architecture to provide one algorithm solution compatible for different HA (Front Load) Washer & Combo products targeted for the USA & Europe region. With the diverse experience gathered, I have collaborated with people, responsible for the roles that include Application Software Development, Product Platform Category, Cycle Design, Software Verification & Validation, Electronics Software System Architects & Algorithm Leaders, Component & System SMEs, Performance & Parameter testing, Data acquisition Tools Development, & Opex( Six Sigma) SMEs : BB, MBB certified. I am glad to have worked together with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, cultures across the USA & Europe on providing control software solutions. I have been part of inclusion & diversity initiatives being conducted to bring out the best from employees at the workplace. Project management, MBD work scoping, timeline & resource management, defining ideal development plans for the project milestones, working collaboratively with teams, mentoring, process adherence, documentation, better listening skills, paying attention to details, and adaptability are my strengths that have been developed over the years of professional experience.
