Prasad Das has 21 years of Design experience in the field of Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries. Handled many green Field, Revamp/Brown field detail engineering EPC, FEED, Conceptual study projects. Conversant with relevant International codes and standards. Skilled in Plant designing and piping layout designing, well conversant with major aspects of Plant and Piping Engineering, Detailed engineering activities for projects related to Oil & Gas Plants. Working as lead of a team of designers to deliver the required services, keeping the quality intact in accordance to the project requirement within schedule. Using independent judgement in making adaptations and modifications. This work include the preparation of system layouts, study drawings, prepare sketches, detailed 3D design models and 2D construction drawings. Responsible for Piping layout designing in area Equipment like Heater, Column, Compressor, Drum, Pump, Air fin cooler, Tank, Exchanger, Filter, Rack piping. Unit Plot Plan Development. Cryogenic piping for Berth area, Jacketed piping, Flare & Utility piping, Deluge system firefighting piping for Compressor, Pump, Drum and Air cooler. Well experienced with Modular concept project and Tank farm piping projects. Equipment Modelling with Nozzle orientation of column, horizontal and vertical vessel, platform & ladder arrangement of column, vertical vessel and Battery limit platform arrangement. Modelling supports per project support standard. Supporting for stress critical lines per Stress markup, supporting for non-critical lines. Modification of Piping routing, Performing Data consistency & clash check in the model, Also involved in extraction of piping general arrangement with subsequent annotation using Orthogen. Preparation of design information for Civil with squad checking of DI, Vendor document review and providing comments, IDC on P & ID & their Physicalization, Perform manual MTO & Isometrics extraction using S3D, E3D, PDS, & MicroStation design tools. Using LFM for finalizing tie in point.
