Technical Superintendent of a reputed ownership company. Responsible for the safe and economic operation of diversified fleet of 10 Foreign going vessels. Managing ocean going General Cargo Vessels, AHTS, Landing crafts, barges.Following duties carried out during my tenure-* Was responsible for preparing my vessels for ADNOC audits, inspections and planning the survey schedules for the vessels.* Incharge of Dry docking and repairs of my vessels in ADSB, Dubai Dry Docks. Conducting daily toolbox meeting for vessel staffs, technicians and equipment operators.* Perform budgeting and cost control measures for ship spares and consumables, initiate procurement requests of spares, including Fuel & Lube bunkering.* Conversant with MS Office and Maintenance Software like AMOS & SMMS to efficiently prepare & handle the daily reports to the company.* Support the vessel from the shore by arranging third party workshop assistance and trouble shooting the issues by referring to electrical, mechanical and hydraulic drawings.* Liaise with operations, commercial, QHSE and finance department to ensure prompt response to vessel, zero loss time.
