As a seasoned digital transformation leader with a focus on driving innovation in the financial services sector, I currently serve as Vice President of Digital Innovation at Poonawalla Fincorp. In this role, I lead the development of a cutting-edge super app and in-house digital lending journeys, leveraging AI to enhance customer engagement and implementing advanced account aggregator services to streamline lending decisions. Prior to this, I held the role of Deputy General Manager at IDBI Bank, where I was heading Mobile | Inet | WhatsApp banking along with payment systems like UPI and IMPS. I superheaded key initiatives in mobile and internet banking. My efforts contributed to a significant increase in the active mobile app user base, with monthly active users growing from 1 million to 4 million within just one year keeping app rating constistenly above 4.3/5.0. I also instrumental in introduction of the industry-first, award-winning in-app OTP generation (Softoken), reinforcing the bank's commitment to security and user experience. I also headed the complete automation of key systems like Exposure calculation, Income recognition and Asset Classification (IRAC) and Restructured Asset System (RAS).
