My passion for sustainable materials and solutions started early in my academic career, where I researched and developed new materials that could reduce environmental impact without sacrificing performance. This fascination with sustainable materials has only deepened over the years as I’ve worked on number of projects that not only improve product quality but also drive cost efficiency and reduce waste. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do, solving problems that make a tangible difference. 3 : UNCONVENTIONAL IDEAS:My materials science & engineering background focused with paper, printing & packaging technologies helps me to generate creative ideas that improve our understanding of how (and why) we are deriving and using materials and finding more sustainable methods.I’m deeply passionate about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in packaging research and development, where I’m constantly looking for ways to innovate while keeping sustainability at the forefront. ENGINEERING LEADERSHIP:I am known for my infectious energy and alluring, individualistic ideas. Additionally, I enjoy leading and working in cross-disciplinary engineering and science teams to develop new products that reach people.Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of leading global engineering and R&D teams, guiding them through complex challenges - from failure mode analysis to risk mitigation in manufacturing processes. Whether it’s troubleshooting conversion lines with packaging printers or collaborating with consumer goods companies on new product development, I thrive on turning technical challenges into opportunities for growth. INVESTIGATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING:Tough problems don't dissuade me. I enjoy solving problems on the spot and using those challenges as opportunities for growth.Today, as a technical leader, I continue to focus on creating value for businesses and the environment. My goal is simple: to lead teams that bring cutting-edge solutions to life while ensuring that our processes are as efficient as they are environmentally responsible.
