Prashant is a charted mechanical engineer and fellow with 20+ years of experience in various engineering domains (Aerospace, nuclear, defense and rolling stock). Prashant has significant experience working for global organizations and successfully managing and delivering an offshore element of engineering services in the aerospace and rolling stock sector from India. Professional Experience: Prashant is currently managing the aerospace team in India. Key attributes of this role are people management from an operations perspective, preparation of technical/ commercial proposals, client management and project management. The role also involves selecting the right people, tools processes and methods, technical capability development of the team and ensuring the right first-time delivery. Prashant has worked in the past with Axiscades technologies on design to build projects including testing and test correlations of the aerospace components. Prashant has played the role of Technical manager, project manager and account manager and was responsible for client management, project management and people management. Technical Expertise: Experience in stress analysis and optimization of Aerospace/Aircraft structures using FE analysis and design validation by classical methods. Designed space components from design to build phase and optimized using a finite element analysis (linear, non-linear, buckling, dynamic and seismic). Good knowledge of manufacturing drawings, manufacturing processes and testing. Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, VB/VBA, Python and FORTRAN Atkins is one of the largest engineering consultancy firms in the world. Atkins works for major clients like Airbus, MagniX etc. Also, Atkins is DoAS and Key attributes for this role includes efficient running of local aerospace business operations in India with a good understanding of technical, commercial and HR aspects of the business.
