About Prashant Mani Tripathi

Currently employed with a Swedish power systems company called "Solvina", where I am engaged in conducting power system studies, primary frequency response tests at power plants and Islanding studies.I hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Dhanbad, where my research focused on Renewable Energy and Fault Ride Through. During my academic journey, I had the privilege of working with esteemed professors and collaborating on various research projects that have enriched my understanding of the field.In addition to my research, I have hands-on experience with real-time simulators like SSPS, Dspace and opal-RT. As an enthusiastic educator, I have had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate courses in Basic Electrical Engineering, Signal & System and Electrical Machines, where I have honed my pedagogical skills and fostered a passion for guiding students towards academic success. My approach to teaching involves engaging students through interactive and practical learning methods, fostering critical thinking, and inspiring them to explore the frontiers of electrical engineering.Furthermore, I have actively contributed to publications in reputed journals and conferences and continue to pursue research opportunities with dedication. I believe that my research work not only enhances the knowledge base of the field but also provides valuable insights to share with students, inspiring their own academic pursuits.Apart from my academic credentials, I possess effective communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a strong commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
