Prashant has total 16 years of experience in Piping Material Control Engineering at various roles and responsibilities in EPC Projects of multiple size and complexity in Oil & Gas, Chemical as well as Steel sectors. He has hands on experience in various piping material control activities in different phases of project as Lead as well as in multi office environment with Clients in North America, Europe as well as in India like TCO, BASF, Air Products, ArcelorMittal, Engineers India Ltd, ONGC. He has proven his ability to manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date piping MTO in Matman for estimation and purchasing, resulting in timely and cost-effective procurement of materials. He also has proven track record in issuing accurate and timely Requisition BOM for purchase, supporting Purchase in negotiating better prices and lead times, resulting in a reduction in procurement costs. He is competent in tracking design changes impacts in requisitioned/issued quantity, managing overages, shortages, and damages, communicating project stakeholders of all the identified risks with respect to material status. He is highly proficient in Quantifier (Material Requirement) module of Matman. Knowledge of Purchase, Expediting and Warehouse modules. Expert in verifying isometric drawings for bill of materials integrity and compliance to standard drawings, resulting in issuing accurate and complete drawings for fabrication. An expert Excel User and skilled in VBA Programming/Power Query. Effective communicator and a team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to deliver in tight schedules.
