Spearheading project activities involving managing project plan, detail drawings, components, assemblies & Layouts using Inventor, layout & proposal engineering Supervising required working hours, monitoring expenditures and preparing report on the projects of Structural Engineering Products and expenditures Executing many projects simultaneously and ensuring the completion of projects within defined deadlines Imparting effective training sessions to new joiners on including modules on Introduction on RCC (Railway Compressor Competencies), drawing standards, processes to follow for pre bid & post bid projects, use of BPCS and how to find & use databases. Helping Project Leaders by generating innovative ideas, providing different options & CAD models for their new conceptual designs; allocating projects to Jr. Design Engineers based on criticality or complexity of the project Preparing records of parts & /or assembly from the RCC compressor unit for all the new & /or changing information regarding, size, weight & standards and updating the checklist whenever needed to avoid repetitive errors Preparing and implementing inspection, testing procedures and quality assurance plan to check self & team output, ensuring adherence to the pre-set quality standards in order to deliver error free FTR (first time right) output and maintaining relevant documents for future reference Providing technical support to the project team and facilitating the project leaders with the technical training reports; extending support to the customer regarding their L1-L4 project queries and updating them with the weekly project progress reports Performing advance planning for resources, manpower deployment and rendering technical support; ensuring the execution of projects within time, quality, cost & budgetary parameters.
