As Promoter and Managing Director of Janatha Group, I bring over two decades of experience blending engineering expertise with a deep passion for the fisheries and aqua nutrition sectors. Since joining Janatha Fishmeal in I have been driven by a fascination with the workings of the fishing community and a commitment to addressing their challenges firsthand. Starting my journey by engaging closely with fishermen at the ports in the early mornings, I gained invaluable insights into the grassroots dynamics of the industry. With a background in industrial engineering and a strong interest in technology and business innovation, I have played a key role in introducing cost-effective and pioneering processes. Notably, I led the implementation of the centrifuge and decanter technology for fish oil refining, a first for India, which significantly improved the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of our operations. My leadership philosophy is grounded in responsibility, continuous learning, and community support. I am motivated by a blend of personal values shaped by family, education, and life experiences, along with a desire to empower the fishing community that underpins our business.
