About Prasoon Gupta

With 6+ years of research experience in laboratory experiments and data analysis in quantum optics, I would like to switch to industry. During my Ph.D, I have shown improvement in the precision of phase measurements over the traditional methods using squeezed light. In the projects, I built experimental setup using lasers and other optical instruments, made and programmed computer-controlled devices to steer light rays, controlled the microscopic motion of optical instruments to stabilize light propagation, and analyzed big data. These experiences have enhanced my analytical and quantitative skills. Besides, I have also convinced my group to start new projects and brought them to culmination by working with others. Additionally, I have written multiple journal articles and presented my work at many conferences. Beyond academia, I enjoy reading books, mostly history.
